Maryland MVA Knowledge Test

This Roadwise course uses a 25-question practice test with 22 correct answers needed to pass. The format can depend on your age, license class, or application type.

The handbook states the test has 25 questions and a 20-minute time limit but does not give a numeric passing score. Two independent third-party MVA test-prep sites agree on 22/25 (88%) correct to pass. A third source claims the test is split into a 25-question general section plus a separate 10-question, 100%-required road-signs section, but this is not supported by the handbook (which describes one 25-question test) or by the other sources, so the practice test uses one combined score.
