You can study with Roadwise without creating an account. Your study history stays on the device or browser you use.

Accounts and tracking

Roadwise has no accounts, sign-in, advertising, or analytics and tracking SDKs. You do not need to provide your name or email to use the study tools.

What stays on your device

In the mobile app, your chosen state, study progress, streaks, bookmarks, test results, and settings are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app deletes that local data.

On the website, these settings and progress are saved in your browser’s local storage. Clearing this site’s browser data, using a different browser, or using a private browsing session may remove or separate your progress. App and website progress do not automatically sync.

If you export a progress backup, the downloaded file contains your study settings and history. Keep it somewhere you trust. Importing a backup restores the data into the browser you are using.

Content and website hosting

Roadwise downloads study content from a server hosted by Netlify. Loading the website and downloading state packs may generate standard server request records, such as an IP address and request time, for security and reliability. We do not use those records to identify or track learners.

When you contact support

If you submit the support form, you voluntarily send your email address, message, selected topic, and any state you include. Netlify processes the form submission so we can read your message and respond. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.

Study reminders

Mobile app study reminders are scheduled locally if you enable them. No reminder data is sent to us.

Children

Roadwise does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information through our support form, contact us using the support page.
