Maryland MVA Knowledge Test
To pass this Roadwise simulation, answer at least 22 of 25 questions correctly. Answers and explanations appear after you finish. Unanswered questions count as incorrect.
This practice format uses one overall passing threshold, without a separately scored sign section.
The practice simulation uses a 20-minute countdown. The test clock continues while you are away from the session.
The handbook states the test has 25 questions and a 20-minute time limit but does not give a numeric passing score. Two independent third-party MVA test-prep sites agree on 22/25 (88%) correct to pass. A third source claims the test is split into a 25-question general section plus a separate 10-question, 100%-required road-signs section, but this is not supported by the handbook (which describes one 25-question test) or by the other sources, so the practice test uses one combined score.
Try a few practice questions
Read the question, decide on an answer, then open it to check the explanation. These are Roadwise study questions based on the source handbook.
