New Hampshire Knowledge Test

This Roadwise course uses a 40-question practice test with 32 correct answers needed to pass. The format can depend on your age, license class, or application type.

The handbook states the test has 40 multiple-choice questions with a 40-minute time limit, and that the test automatically ends if more than 8 questions are answered incorrectly. It does not print an explicit minimum correct-answer count or passing percentage, so the minimum correct-answer count is 32 (80%) is derived from the 'ends after >8 wrong' rule (i.e. must have at most 8 wrong to avoid automatic failure). No separate signs-only section is scored, so the practice test uses one combined score.
