The knowledge exam has two parts, Road Signs and Road Rules. Each has 20 questions, and you need 15 right on each to pass. Exams are walk-in, so plan your visit around the office's closing time.

Knowledge exams are given on a walk-in basis at every DDS Customer Service Center. You must begin at least 30 minutes before closing.
