Service Oklahoma tracks every driver with a mandatory point system. You start with a clean record, and each conviction for a pointable violation adds points. Too many points in too short a time and your license is suspended, but points also drop off for clean driving.

Know the rule

Everyone starts with a clean record: no points. Each conviction for a pointable violation adds one or more points to your record.

Handbook p. 71 ↗
10 points in 5 years

Accumulating 10 or more points within 5 years gets your license suspended

Handbook p. 71 ↗

Know the rule

Points are assessed for convictions in any court, anywhere, that has authority over these violations.

Put it into practice

Within two years you're convicted of reckless driving (4), passing a stopped school bus (4) and careless driving (2). That's 10 points within 5 years: your license will be suspended.
