Minnesota Class D Knowledge Test
To pass this Roadwise simulation, answer at least 32 of 40 questions correctly. Answers and explanations appear after you finish. Unanswered questions count as incorrect.
This practice format uses one overall passing threshold, without a separately scored sign section.
This Roadwise practice format has no countdown, so you can take the time you need.
The Minnesota Driver's Manual (p.13) confirms the test mixes multiple-choice and true/false questions and requires an 80% score to pass, but does not state a total question count. The DPS/DVS official site's downloadable 'Class D Practice Knowledge Test' PDF (assets.dps.mn.gov) is an untimed 25-question sample only and does not claim to match the live exam's length. No official DVS page states the exact number of questions on the live test, so the 40-question figure is taken from well-corroborated third-party prep sites; 32 of 40 is the 80% threshold. No separate scored sections are described anywhere in the handbook or official materials, so the practice test uses one combined score.
