DDS can place restrictions on your license whenever there is good cause, to make sure you drive safely. Each restriction appears on the license as a code, and one license can carry several codes.

Know the rule

Any restriction DDS imposes appears on your license. The DDS restriction code table lists "A" for no restrictions and "B" for corrective lenses required (the text on p.7 says an "X" appears when there are none).

Put it into practice

Your license shows restriction code G. That means daylight hours only, so you may not drive after dark. A code 7 would limit you to driving to and from school.
