The format in this course
Arizona MVD Knowledge (Written) Test
To pass this Roadwise simulation, answer at least 24 of 30 questions correctly. Answers and explanations appear after you finish. Unanswered questions count as incorrect.
This practice format uses one overall passing threshold, without a separately scored sign section.
This Roadwise practice format has no countdown, so you can take the time you need.
The AZ Driver License Manual itself does not state the written test's question count or passing score. azdot.gov could not be checked directly for these figures, so the format above is the best-corroborated figure from multiple third-party driving-test sites that mirror MVD's stated format, not the primary source directly. No time limit is published. The test covers signs, signals and rules of the road together (no separate scored sections).
