A conviction can cost you more than the court's punishment. ALEA can also take your license through cancellation, revocation, suspension or disqualification, and getting it back always costs money.

Know the rule

You must pay the reinstatement fee and meet all other state-law requirements before you can be relicensed.

Handbook p. 19 ↗

Put it into practice

Your license was revoked and you didn't surrender it on time. To be relicensed you pay the reinstatement fee of at least $100 plus an extra $50. Because it was a revocation, you must also pass the complete examinations again.
