A 3-minute lesson from the Alabama course. Read the rules and examples, follow the handbook page references, and check your understanding before you move on.
A suspension is a temporary loss of your license. You can be suspended for convictions, for being judged incompetent to drive, and for several non-driving reasons such as unpaid child support.
Know the rule
After the suspension period, your license is reinstated, unless it expired during the suspension or you didn't meet all the suspension requirements.
You're convicted of racing another car on the highway. That is a listed ground for suspension. When the suspension ends, your license is reinstated once you've met every requirement and paid the reinstatement fee of at least $100.
