Wyoming driving lesson · Losing the Privilege to Drive
Revocation, SR-22 and reinstatement
A 3-minute lesson from the Wyoming course. Read the rules and examples, follow the handbook page references, and check your understanding before you move on.
A revocation is more serious than a suspension. Your license is canceled, and you must go through a driver investigation to be relicensed. An SR-22 proves you're insured, and deadlines decide whether you can fight a suspension.
Revocation
Cancels your driver license. You must go through a driver investigation to be relicensed after it ends, and you can't have limited privileges during it.
Record Review: send a written request and fee, postmarked within 20 days of the notice, to see if you qualify for a probationary license with limited privileges.
Your suspension notice is dated June 1. To ask for a Record Review or a Contested Case Hearing, your written request and fee must be postmarked by June 21.
