A 3-minute lesson from the Wyoming course. Read the rules and examples, follow the handbook page references, and check your understanding before you move on.
Before any test, you must be old enough, prove who you are and prove you live in Wyoming. Bring the right papers the first time. Residency takes two documents with a street address.
To get a Wyoming license you must:
Be of sufficient age
Provide legal proof of identification
Provide proof of Wyoming residency
Pass a written knowledge test, a vision screening and a driving skills test
If under 18, have a release signed by a legal parent or guardian
You bring your apartment lease and a statement from your Laramie credit union, both showing your street address. That's two acceptable residency documents. A statement mailed to your P.O. Box would not count.
