Know the rule

Anyone operating a motorcycle (2-wheeled, 3-wheeled or cab-enclosed) or motor scooter on Ohio public roads needs a valid motorcycle/scooter license or endorsement — either a motorcycle-only license or an endorsement on a Driver License.

Put it into practice

A vehicle has a 45 cc motor, pedals, and tops out at 18 mph on level ground. It's a moped: you need a moped license or a Class D license to ride it.
