If you request a hearing on time and have a valid license, you get a temporary license that lets you drive until the hearing date, unless a court has revoked you.
You're arrested for DUI; your notice's "Date Issued" is June 3. To challenge DMV's revocation you must submit a written hearing request within 7 days. If you do, and your license was valid, you get a temporary license until the hearing.
