A 2-minute lesson from the Nevada course. Read the rules and examples, follow the handbook page references, and check your understanding before you move on.
Knowing what an impaired driver looks like can keep you from becoming a DUI victim. If you see a driver doing any of these things, watch out — give the car plenty of room and report it.
Clues in lane position:
Making a turn too widely
Using two lanes or straddling the center line
Weaving or drifting from one side of the lane or road to the other
Driving with tires on the lane markers or center line
Driving off the road or going straight through turn lanes
Late at night on I-80, the car ahead keeps drifting onto the lane markers and braking for no reason. Drop well back and have a passenger dial *NHP (*647) to report it.
