A 3-minute lesson from the Missouri course. Read the rules and examples, follow the handbook page references, and check your understanding before you move on.
Missouri's driver exam has four parts, all given by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). The written test's questions come directly from the driver guide, and there are no trick questions. Almost half of test-takers fail the first time, so study first.
With another state's license that's valid or expired less than 184 days, applying for the same type of Missouri license, you take only the vision and road sign tests.
Before testing, prove your legal name and age. Show this ID to the Department of Revenue when you apply, and any time you take the written or driving tests.
Class F: a 25-question multiple-choice written test on the laws and methods in the guide. It is NOT open book, and it doesn't cover Chapter 15 (commercial vehicles).
You moved from Iowa, and your Iowa license expired 100 days ago. It's been expired less than 184 days and you want the same license type, so you take only the vision and road sign tests.
